From Senator Obama's acceptance speach: The — the reality of gun ownership may be different for hunters in rural Ohio than they are for those plagued by gang violence in Cleveland, but don’t tell me we can’t uphold the Second Amendment while keeping AK-47s out of the hands of criminals.Would somebody please inform the senator that it has been a felony for criminals to be in possession of ANY firearm since before the uninformed senator was born? The first criminal in possess law that I have found is the Federal Firearms Act of 1938. And I suspect, a criminal in possession in rural Ohio would be no less a danger than one in Cleveland.
